September is always a busy month with kids starting school and going away to college. It’s also Life Insurance Awareness Month. In honor of the month, here are six things to consider when you’re thinking about getting life insurance. It is a great time to review your current life situation and make sure that your coverage’s and beneficiaries are up to date. There are many myths that young families have about life insurance.

When you purchase Homeowner insurance in RI or Business Insurance in RI those purchases are made to protect YOU from a potential loss. When we purchase life insurance, we are not taking care of ourselves, instead we trying to protect those who are closest to us, our family. Spouses, children and business partners are who we are looking after when we purchase Life insurance.  A life insurance policy can keep your family in their home, provide for the future education of your children or help a business you own continue on after you are gone.

There is no better time then today to review your life insurance needs. Life insurance rates are lower then they have ever been.  people are living longer the insurance companies have reduced the rates on NEW life insurance policies.  You will find that what you paid for your policy 10 years ago will likely be more expensive than what you would pay for a new policy today!

Take some time to consider a review of your current Life insurance situation now, to make sure it will take care of those who depend on YOU.

With more than 100 million adult Americans who have no life insurance, the need has never been greater. Many Americans recognize the importance of life insurance as it provides both peace of mind and security to families of a loved one.

Many Americans recognize the importance of life insurance. It provides both peace of mind and security to families that are confronted with the death of a loved one. The life insurance industry provides protection to 75 million American families, and in 2009 $59 billion were paid to life insurance beneficiaries. Even so, 95 million adults have no life insurance, while insured Americans have, on average, far less than most experts recommend.

Life insurance will pay the beneficiaries named by a policyholder in the event of that policyholder’s untimely death. It’s a way for a family to replace lost wages when an income earner dies.

Insurers have paid out $865 billion in claims since 2000, according to a press release from the American Council of Life Insurers. Some 75 million American families have a life insurance policy.

When purchasing the right life insurance policy, get help from  your insurance professional and discuss your life insurance needs.  Life Insurance is very affordable right now, so it could be the best time for you to buy. Your policy can be customized to meet your specific requirements and lifestyle choices!
